Don oversees the company’s accounting and finance functions, including corporate controller, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, internal audit and compliance, corporate communications and investor relations.
In 2012, Don joined U.S. Silica as vice president of finance. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer in December of that same year, and to executive vice president and chief financial officer in 2016.
More than just "a numbers guy," Don actively works with business leaders to ensure maximum results without compromising compliance or integrity. His collaborative style has earned the trust of the organization, as well as external stakeholders such as investors and analysts.
Before joining U.S. Silica, Don was the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Myers Industries (NYSE:MYE). Prior to that, he spent 5 years with Newell Rubbermaid as CFO of the Rubbermaid division and the Little Tikes division. Don also held senior accounting and finance roles at the Scotts-Miracle Gro Company and Eaton Corporation.
Don earned a BS in accounting from Miami University, Ohio.
