Kevin oversees the corporate accounting function, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies. He is also responsible for the effectiveness and adequacy of controls, policies and procedures for the company.
Kevin brings extensive experience to the acquisition process, from conducting due diligence on proposed acquisitions to applying purchase accounting and consolidating the financial reporting of acquired companies. He leads the integration into the monthly close process for all new acquisitions, including providing process and system training to the respective finance teams.
Prior to joining U.S. Silica in 2011, Kevin was global controller at Rockwood Pigments for 9 years. He was previously director of financial planning and analysis in the power tools division of Black and Decker. He began his career in public accounting with KPMG.
Kevin holds a BS in accounting from Le Moyne College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
